As our leather products is made from real leather, it is likely to emit a strong, natural fragrant smell when you first receive it. This will fade over time. Many leather lovers actually enjoy the rich, natural scent of new leather as it's a sign of quality full-grain hides.

But if the odor bothers you, we recommend airing out your leather products in a cool, dry climate for 48 hours.

Cleaning:
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to gently wipe away any dirt or stains from the leather surface. Avoid getting it overly saturated.
For tougher stains, make a mild cleaning solution with warm water and a small amount of leather soap or saddle soap. Use a clean cloth to lather the solution onto the leather, wiping with the grain.
Rinse the area thoroughly with a clean damp cloth to remove any soap residue. Allow the leather to fully air dry before using or storing.
Never use harsh chemical cleaners, home cleaners, or bleach on leather as it can cause damage and drying.

Conditioning:
Over time, leather can become stiff and dry without proper conditioning. Aim to condition every 6-12 months.
Use a high-quality leather conditioner or conditioning cream made specifically for your type of leather (e.g. full-grain,vegetable tanned, nubuck, suede).
Apply a thin, even coat of conditioner with a clean cloth, wiping into the leather with circular motions. Let it fully absorb.
Conditioning replenishes the leather's natural oils, keeping it supple and moisturized to prevent cracking.
Storage

Avoid storing leather goods in direct sunlight or high temperatures which can cause fading or drying.
Allow leather to breathe when not in use by storing in a moisture-free area with good air circulation.
Consider using acid-free paper or cloth to help absorb moisture when storing leather long-term.
With proper cleaning, conditioning and storage, your fine leather pieces can maintain their beauty and durability for many years.
